  Anora  is a 2024 American  romantic   comedy-drama [ 5 ]  film written, directed, produced, and edited by  Sean Baker . It stars  Mikey Madison  as Anora "Ani" Mikheeva, a stripper from New York who marries the wealthy son of a  Russian oligarch  played by  Mark Eydelshteyn . The supporting cast includes  Yura Borisov ,  Karren Karagulian ,  Vache Tovmasyan ,  Darya Ekamasova , and  Aleksei Serebryakov . Anora  premiered at the  77th Cannes Film Festival  on May 21, 2024, where it received critical acclaim and won the  Palme d'Or . It was released theatrically on October 18, 2024, by  Neon .   Mickey 17   is a 2025   science fiction   black comedy   film written, produced, and directed by   Bong Joon Ho , based on the 2022 novel   Mickey7   by Edward Ashton. The film stars   Robert Pattinson   in the title role, alongside   Naomi Ackie ,   Steven Yeun ,   Toni Collette , and   Mark Ruffalo . Set in the year 2054, the plot follows a man who joins a space colony as an "Expendable", a disposable worker who gets cloned every time he dies for research purposes.
